|Two things matter in Life: Following your dreams and looking after your friends. This is what I love about Scouting.
It’s about doing great things, loving and enjoying the great adventures and helping others to do the same.
About the Group
The 1st Fairfield Park Scout Group was formed on the 6th December 2013. The group is part of the Biggleswade district in the County of Bedfordshire.
The first meeting took place at the Fairfield Community Centre on the 3rd February 2014, attended by 25 children. The group now has a thriving Beaver colony, a healthy Cub Pack and a developing Scout Troop with 45 children making lifelong friendships and enjoying new and exciting activities.
Scouting exists to actively engage and support young people in their personal development, empowering them to make a positive contribution to society.
Cubs are aged 8- 10 ½ and are the second section of the Scout Group. Cubs are energetic and active young people who explore the world around them, working together to have fun.
Cubs get the chance to try all sorts of activities and they have the opportunity to gain badges to wear on their uniform that shows the world how well they are doing.
